After being bestowed the honour of “First fellow in vascular and Endovascular surgery” in 2003 accredited by the National Board of Examinations, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Dr Tarun Grover embarked upon his career as a fully trained Vascular & Endovascular surgeon at a busy tertiary referral care centre in the very heart of Delhi city where he practiced for 16 years.

Currently he is the Director and in-charge Peripheral vascular Lab, The Division of Vascular & Endovascular sciences, at one of the premier Health care institute in India- Medanta - The Medicity. His experience as a Vascular & endovascular specialist spans for almost over 20 years now. During his surgical tenure he has performed almost close to 12000 Vascular, 7500 Endovascular and more than 8000 Endovenous Laser ablation procedures.

Besides the surgical experience he brings with him, he is also one of the few experts to perform Vascular Ultrasound duplex imaging in India and this has added to his responsibility of being “In charge of the Non Invasive vascular lab”.

He is an expert in performing minimally invasive interventional procedures under image guidance.

Dr. Grover was instrumental as the Founding Head in setting up the Diabetic Foot Care Centre at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.

He has enormous training and teaching experience in the past two decades. A few of his trainings would include the awarded vascular fellow ship at St. Mary’s London,UK (Intervascular), Vascular Fellowship at Regional Vascular Centre, Porz, Cologne, Germany, The Ethicon, Cordis Endovascular Fellowship Adelaide, (Australia) 2006 etc. He has also executed many state of the art teaching curriculum such as Duplex Ultrasound course with CME points. Endovascular Teaching Skills at the Ethicon Institute Cordis, National live workshops session on Endovenous laser ablation and radio frequency ablation, Endovascular Live hybrid OR workshop, Annual VSI duplex course etc.
